I am filled with so many mixed feelings. I am so sorry to hear of your diagnosis.
I only found out today as I saw mention of your benefit in Time Out New York.
You have been my hero since I arrived in New York 6 years ago. Your show at
Escuelita was my first night out and I felt uplifted, welcomed and entertained.
I am in shock because I have not been out since my diagnosis in August of last year and
so of did not know about your health issues.
You were my hero as an entertainer, now you are my hero as a man, and of course, as
a true lady.
I wish you the very best. I hope you can feel the love coming through the airwaves.
You will live, you will thrive, we will all be saved by science, we just need to
hang on a little longer til it catches up with us.
We are going to be the first generation to get through this. Believe.
Deepest respect and love, 'drew
Im happy to read that you refuse to be held down, at least not by the virus. Ha. But then again Good Black Don’t Crack. Keep pumpin ma. As always I’m praying for you Lady. I have never seen the righteous forsaken or begging bread.
