Our role models are people we greatly admire and want to emulate in our own lives. Led in doing their best by the spirit of God within, they have shown us how to do the very best in both everyday and exceptional circumstances.
Whether a parent or child, friend or acquaintance, teacher or student, we each have a role to play in the lives of those around us. Perhaps it is our role to be the fearless one in the face of fear, the positive one in an apparent negative situation, the strong one when another feels helpless.
As we give expression to the spirit of God within us, we know the joy of doing the very best in whatever we do.

JUST THE OTHER DAY (WED) IT WAS NICE AND CUTE. I THOUGHT SPRING WAS ON THE WAY IN FULL FORCE BUT I WAS WRONG. AFTER SOME EXTENSIVE RESEARCH I DISCOVERED THAT MOTHER NATURE WASN'T PLEASED. APPARENTLY SOME OF U RUINED THE EARLY COMING OF SPRING BY SHOWING THE HELL OUT ON THIS PAST WEDNESDAY. THE CHILDREN WERE SEEN WITH INAPPROPIATE ATTIRE AND BODY PARTS THAT SHOULD'NT BE EXPOSED EVEN IN PRIVATE. STOP THE INSANITY! THAT'S WHY WE ARE FORCED TO DEAL WITH THE SNOWSTORM THIS WEEKEND. WHEN MOTHER NATURE SEES FIT SHE WILL BRING SPRING BACK BUT WITH SOME RULES AND REGULATIONS ATTACHED. THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS: DO NOT PUT ON SIZE 8 DAISY DUKES IF U ARE REALLY A SIZE 16. DO NOT WEAR A MIDRIFF TOP IF YOUR STOMACHE IS GOING TO HANG OVER THE SIDES, BACK AND FRONT CREATING A MUFFIN EFFECT. DO NOT PUT ON TANK TOPS OR SHORTS IF ITS BELOW 70 DEGREES. I may often be the one who helps others. What happens when I have a simple need, such as reaching an item on a high shelf, or when I encounter a health challenge that requires the support of a team?
Fortunately, I am not meant to “go it alone.” People are healthiest and happiest when helping one another. So I relax and let go of any desire to prove my independence or to appear to be the strong one.
In prayer with God and in touch with my family, friends, and community, I am open to words and acts of kindness. God is the source of all good, yet the answer to my prayer may come through the caring hands and hearts of those around me. As I allow others to care for and about me, I witness their joy in being able to be there for me.
"Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete."-John 16:24

Divine purpose and timing are unfolding opportunities of good in my life.
In my prayers to God, I may have asked for something such as patience and then added, "I need it right now." I may be so aware of what seems out of order in my life that I am unaware of the divine order that is present and even more that is unfolding.
In awareness of God and the goodness of God that is always present, I live my life with positive expectation. Such expectation is like a magnet that draws good to me and fills my prayers with thanksgiving.
I give thanks to God for the divine purpose and timing that together weave a golden thread of opportunity throughout my life. There is an answer to every prayer. With this awareness, I accept and give thanks for the abundant good that is mine to claim and to share with others.

HEY GUYS,SORRY IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAVE WRITTEN TO YOU. MY COMP WAS DOWN AND IT TOOK ME SOME TIME TO FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO REPAIR IT. I KNOW THERE IS A POSSIBILITY SOME OF YOU WERE GETTING WORRIED SINCE I HAD'NT POSTED ANY ENTRIES FOR A MINUTE BUT ALL IS WELL HERE. I RECENTLY TOOK A NICE REFRESHING TRIP TO BRAZIL AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MYSELF. I AM CURRENTLY BACK IN SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS TO GET CERTIFICATION FOR A COURSE I TOOK SOME TIME AGO(MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING). I'M HOPING TO LOOK FOR A PART-TIME GIG COME SEPTEMBER FOR WHEN THINGS ARE SLOW ONSTAGE. I AM ALSO GOING TO BE TAKING SOME CEU'S FOR MY MASSAGE THERAPY PRACTICE AS WELL. IN THIS DAY AND AGE ONE MUST WEAR MANY HATS IN ORDER TO ENSURE SURVIVAL AND SUCCESS. I AM OFFICIALLY AWAITING FOR THE NICE WEATHER TO COME ALONG WHICH WOULD INSPIRE ME TO VISIT THE GYM MORE OFTEN SO THAT I CAN LOOK MY BEST WHILE PUMPING UP AND DOWN CHRISTOPHER STREET THIS SPRING.
