The life of Christ within is my source of continued renewal.

I may feel that my energy level needs restoration and my physical body is in need of rejuvenation. One choice I have is to adopt lifestyle changes that promote health. This decision opens the way for me to make changes that benefit my total well-being.
I have within me all the power and strength of the living Christ. Knowing and claiming this truth draws me easily and naturally to resources that support the renewal of my mind, body, and spirit.
I choose foods that nourish and strengthen me. I enjoy physical activity that gets me up and moving. I stimulate my mind with reading or music that enlivens my imagination and my intellect. And through prayer, I build on a consciousness of the indwelling Christ—my source of continued renewal.

AS I SIT HERE THIS MORNING WRITING TODAY'S ENTRY THE CALENDAR SAYS APRIL BUT THE TEMPERATURE SAYS WINTER. THIS IS NOT MOTIVATING TO ME AT ALL. I NEED TO BE IN THE GYM PREPARING THIS BODY FOR SUMMER BUT I HATE TO WORK OUT IN COLD WEATHER. I HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT CAUTIOUS OF MY EATING HABITS BUT NEED THAT EXERCISE TO KEEP ME AT A OPTIMAL LEVEL OF FITNESS. I AM WORKING IN MIAMI THIS WEEKEND(CLUB BOI) SO THAT SHOULD OFFER ME SOME FUN IN THE SUN TIME. I GET BACK TO TOWN ON SUNDAY FOR THE T-DANCE AND THEN MY WEEK GOES INTO OVERDRIVE WITH PERFORMANCES FROM WED - SUN TO ROUND OUT THE MONTH OF APRIL. WELL FOLKS I CAN HONESTLY SAY I WEATHERED A SEVERE STORM. JUST A YEAR AGO THIS MONTH I WAS DOWN AND OUT AND AT DEATH'S DOOR BUT WITH THE STRENGTH AND SUPPORT OF ALL OF YOU, I MADE IT THROUGH. AS THE TIME FOR MY ANNIVERSARY OF LEAVING ESCUELITA CAME UP I WAS HAPPY YET SAD THINKING BACK TO ALL I HAD BEEN THRU IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. IT HAS TAKEN ME SOME TIME TO GET OFF MY ASS AND WRITE THIS ENTRY SINCE I HAD SO MANY MIXED EMOTIONS. THOSE OF U WHO HAVE BEEN WHERE I AM KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. THE CHANGES I HAVE MADE AND THE NEW DREAMS AND GOALS I HAVE CREATED FOR MYSELF ARE NOW MANIFESTING INTO REALITIES AND IM AM VERY PROUD AND ALSO NERVOUS OF WHAT LURKS AHEAD.WITH YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT I WILL PREVAIL. THERE ARE MANY THINGS ON MY AGENDA AND I PLAN TO KEEP U POSTED ON ALL OF THEM . THIS WILL SERVE AS MY OFFICIAL RETURN TO THIS BLOG BECAUSE I NOW REALIZE HOW MUCH I NEED IT TO HELP ME THRU AND HOW IT ALSO HELPS OTHERS AS WELL. The ever-present light of Christ guides me to freedom and fulfillment.
I understand that negative thoughts and words are not simply a harmless habit. By choosing not to think or speak negatively, I am free to live from my joyful spirit. With my mind illumined in prayer by the ever-present light of Christ within, I am inspired to express that light to others.
The Christ in me is God in expression through me. My ultimate purpose is to express this highest and best of myself in my thoughts, words, and actions. As I do, I experience an immediate feeling of fulfillment.
When my words and actions bring a smile to others, it's as if those smiles are reflecting the light of Christ back to me. When a choice I make increases my heart's joy and delight, I know I am choosing correctly. I am guided in a life of freedom and fulfillment.
