Leadership

I lead by example, giving expression to divine qualities within.
I am a creation of God, with divine qualities awaiting my expression in everyday matters and unusual circumstances. Whether in a formal role of leadership or pursuing my individual goals, I express divine qualities in ways that benefit me and others.
In any supervisory position, I remember the principle of giving and receiving. I honor others and expect to be honored in return. In working with a supervisor, I look for and discover the divine nature in the person who is fulfilling such a leadership role.
The true essence of a leader is revealed by a person who cares about the opinions and needs of others in ways that transcend position or title. I give voice and action to this capacity as I lead by example, no matter what role I fill in the lives of others.

HAPPY TENTH ANNIVERSARY TO ME!

WELL FOLKS, THE BIG DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. MY TENTH ANNIVERSARY AT THE T-DANCE. IT'S BEEN A LONG AND TURBULENT TRIP WITH LOTS OF SUPRISES AS WELL AS SCATTERED DOSES OF DRAMA, CONFUSION AND MAYHEM. I ONLY TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD AND GROW FROM IT ALL. I THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO HAS COME TO THE T-DANCE OVER THE YEARS. AS I MENTIONED IN AN EARLIER ENTRY THIS WILL BE THE LAST ANNIVERSARY SHOW FOR ME AT ESCUELITA. I WILL BE LEAVING SOMETIME THIS YEAR TO EXPLORE NEW AND DIFFERENT THINGS. OF COURSE MY FAITHFUL READERS WILL KNOW ABOUT MY OFFICIAL DEPARTURE WAY B4 ANYONE ELSE WILL(MY BOSS). AS I GET OLDER AND WISER I REALIZE THAT WHEN PEOPLE AREN'T GOING TO CHANGE , U MUST BE THE ONE TO MAKE THE CHANGE AND IT'S BEST FOR ME TO CONTINUE TO BROADEN MY HORIZONS AND SEE WHAT DESTINY HAS IN STORE FOR ME THAN SIT AND BE STIFLED, CONTROLLED AND MISERABLE. ON THAT NOTE, HAVE A BLESSED HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND I HOPE TO SEE U ALL SOMETIME SOON.

AND THE BEAT GOES ON...

THIS IS WEEK 2 OF THE SPRING SEMESTER AND I GOT A CHANCE TO MEET ALL OF MY TEACHERS AND FEEL THEM OUT. I THINK I WILL DO VERY GOOD IN ALL MY CLASSES IT'S JUST THAT SOME WILL TAKE A LITTLE MORE EFFORT THAN OTHERS (THAT'S LIFE). I AM ALSO GLAD TO ANNOUNCE THAT TUESDAY NITES ARE REALLY PICKING UP AT THE CAGE AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER VISITED THIS WONDERFUL LOCAL WATERING HOLE, FEEL FREE TO PUMP THRU AND CHECK IT OUT. I ALSO EXPECT TO SEE U ALL AT MY TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY 2/17/08. I HAVE ALREADY MENTIONED THAT THERE WON'T BE AN 11YEAR ONE SO ENJOY THE T-DANCE WHILE U CAN. IN CLOSING , DO YOUR THING AND GO VOTE TODAY BECAUSE WE NEED TO BE SEEN AND HEARD. AMEN?

Faith

With God, I am able to move mountains!
If I am experiencing anxiety about a diagnosis, unease about my finances, or concern for a loved one, these situations may appear as mountains before me. By using my will alone, I may think these mountains are unmovable. However, I am not alone; God is with me.
God is my companion, my foundation, my guide, and my strength. Through faith in the loving power and presence of God, I overcome any fear and concern and look to my Creator—rather than any outward appearance—for understanding and direction. As I allow the inner guidance to direct my steps, I am at peace knowing that with God, I am moving mountains!
"Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you."-Mark 11:23
