The good I do for others circulates back to bless me.
When I am caring for another person, I am aware that I am caring for a sacred creation of God. Whether as a parent or spouse, grandparent or guardian, health caregiver or teacher, I am nurturing others and helping to shape their lives.
I honor God's creativity as I honor people—children or adults—by caring about and for them. I do whatever I can to bring greater comfort, healing, and understanding to those who need tender, loving attention.
According to the law of giving and receiving, the good I do for others goes full circle and comes back to bless me. It may manifest in unexpected ways and from different people, yet it does appear naturally as I care about and for God's creations.
"He went to him and bandaged his wounds, having poured oil and wine on them. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him."-Luke 10:34

I let go and let God lead me to greater good.
I am a living, loving, constantly changing child of God. As I grow in awareness of God, I let go of all that no longer serves me. I acknowledge that there is more to life than what I have experienced and that greater good is available. I let God guide me in new directions and to greater fulfillment.
Sometimes letting go means saying goodbye to friends. Sometimes it is finding a new job or moving to a new city. Letting go may mean that I open my mind to new viewpoints. In every single change, however, God is there. God is my constant source of love and the continuing assurance that change is inevitable and growth is good.
I accept new life, new love, greater peace, and the fulfillment that God offers me. I now let go and let God.

HEY ALL. HOPE YOUR WEEKEND WENT WELL. WE HAD A GREAT SHOW THIS PAST SUNDAY. FULL OF ENERGY AND LOVE FROM THE AUDIENCE. WE ALSO DID A RELEASE PARTY FOR A NEW GAY MOVIE THAT PREMIERES 3/28/08 AT CHELSEA CINEMAS IN NYC. THE MOVIE IS TITLED " A FOUR LETTER WORD" AND ONE OF IT'S STARS( A CUSTOMER NAMED J.R.) ALONG WITH THE DIRECTOR/WRITER KASPER CAME TO TELL US ABOUT THE FILM AND WE GAVE OUT SOME FREE PASSES AS WELL. SO LET'S SUPPORT THIS VENTURE AND CHECK OUT THE FILM. I HAVE ONE MORE MIDTERM TO GO AND THIS ONE WILL BE A DOOZY. THE MIDTERM IS IN MY A&P CLASS (ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY). YOU WOULD THINK FROM MY MASSAGE EXPERIENCE THIS CLASS WOULD BE A WALK IN THE PARK BUT IT'S NOT. THE PROFESSOR IS A LITTLE WACKY IN HIS TEACHING METHODS AND HIS TESTS ARE EVEN CRAZIER BUT I WILL PUT MY BEST FOOT FORWARD AND HAVE FAITH IN A POSITIVE OUTCOME.IN OTHER NEWS, I RECENTLY WENT TO SEE ABOUT A NEW PART ON LAW AND ORDER SVU BUT DIDN'T GET IT(SHIT HAPPENS). I WAS PLAYING A DRAGQUEEN WHO WORKED AT GYM AS THE MANAGER NAMED CANDYCE.IF U SEE THE EPISODE LET ME KNOW HOW IT WENT(I'M TOO BITTER TO WATCH).LOL. IN ADDITION TO THAT UPSETTING NEWS, I RECENTLY RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM SOMEONE WHO CLAIMED TO BE FRIENDS WITH THE OWNER OF A CLUB IN FT. LAUDERDALE CALLED THE BLACK BANANA. THIS PERSON SAID THEY WERE INTERESTED IN HAVING ME HOST A WEEKLY SHOW THERE. I GAVE THEM MY CELL NUMBER(WHICH I RARELY DO) AND THEY WERE TO PASS IT ON TO THE APPROPIATE PEOPLE. I THEN HIT THE CLUB UP ON THEIR MYSPACE ACCOUNT AND WAS TOLD THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ME OR WHO THE PERSON IS THAT CONTACTED ME. DID I JUST GET PUNK'D OR WHAT? I THEN APOLOGIZED AND EXPLAINED THE SCENARIO BUT HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM WITH AN UPDATE. I ALSO JUST SPOKE TO A GENTLEMAN ABOUT POSSIBLY BEING A PART OF THE ANNUAL WHITE PARTY THAT HAPPENS IN DC DURING JULY. I WILL KEEP U POSTED ON THAT. THE NEW STUFF I DO HAVE CONFIRMED IS AN APRIL 11TH BOOKING IN JAMAICA(NOT QUEENS BOO) AND A SECOND APPEARANCE AT SHAMPOO FOR PENN RELAY WEEKEND 4/26. I DO HOPE TO SEE SOME OF MY PEEPS THERE SINCE IT'S ABOUT THE ONLY MAJOR HIGHLIGHT PHILLY HAS FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR(THAT I KNOW OF-NO SHADE). THE MIDTERMS HAVE BEGUN AND THEY ARE WEARING ME OUT. I DID 3 SO FAR AND HAVE TWO MORE TO GO. I SEEMED TO BE DOING WELL IN MY CLASSES BUT I JUST NEED THAT EXTRA ASSISTANCE IN MY MATH COURSES. IT'S BEEN SOME TIME AND MY SKILLS LEAVE A LOT TO BE DESIRED. I CAN DEAL WITH IT THOUGH. I HAVE FAITH AND A TUTOR. MY ENGLISH COMP PROFESSOR IS VERY PLEASED WITH MY WRITING AND THINKS I SHOULD TAKE SOME HONORS COURSES. I HAVE BEEN TOYING AROUND WITH THE IDEA OF A BOOK TOO . TWO FRIENDS OF MINE,LLOYD BOSTON AND HICKSON (GHETTOHEAT) HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGING ME TO DO SO AS WELL. I WILL SURELY KEEP U POSTED. IN OTHER NEWS, I JUST LEARNED THAT A REALLY COOL GUY WHOM I RECENTLY HAD A PHOTOSHOOT WITH HAS PASSED AWAY. HIS NAME IS ROME AMES AND HE WAS A POPULAR GUY IN THE NYC SCENE. WE TALKED FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND FINALLY MADE IT HAPPEN WITH THE PHOTOSHOOT. I JUST SENT HIM AN EMAIL ON TUESDAY MORNING TO SEE HOW HE WAS AND SUPRISINGLY LATER GOT AN EMAIL FROM HIS BUDDY MAURICE RUNEA WHO TOLD ME HE PASSED AWAY THE NITE B4. IT REALLY MADE ME REALIZE ONCE AGAIN HOW PRECIOUS LIFE IS. HERE I AM JUST CHECKING IN ON HIM AND THEN I GET THIS INFO. LET'S ALL TRY TO BE MORE GRATEFUL FOR OUR DAY TO DAY EXPERIENCES AND NOT LET SITUATIONS BOTHER US SO MUCH. LIFE IS SHORT, ENJOY IT WHILE U CAN!

I KNOW, I KNOW. IT'S BEEN SOME TIME SINCE I HAVE WRITTEN AND IT'S NOT RIGHT OR FAIR TO YOU. I HAVE BEEN BOMBARDED WITH SCHOOLWORK AND MIDTERMS START MONDAY. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS WISE FOR ME TO DO SO MANY CLASSES THIS SEMESTER BUT ONLY TIME WILL TELL. I SHALL KEEP MY THOUGHTS POSITIVE AND LET IT BE. I HAVE ALSO NEGLECTED SEEING MY DOCTOR AND JUST RECENTLY MADE AN APPT FOR 3/28/07. I DID THE BLOODWORK AND IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHERE I STAND SINCE THE LAST TIME IT WAS DONE(QUITE A WHILE AGO). JUST THIS PAST WED I WAS CONTACTED BY 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE FOR JOB OFFERINGS-LONG AND SHORT TERM. I WILL ONLY TELL YOU THAT THEY ALL SOUND GREAT AND PROMISING. ONCE THINGS ARE CONFIRMED OF COURSE, YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW. I AM HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS ON MY WASHINGTON DC PLANS FOR MEMORIAL WEEKEND SINCE NO DEPOSIT HAS BEEN SENT AND IT'S ALREADY MARCH. I HAVE ONLY GOTTEN PROMISES AND THAT DON'T PAY THE BILLS. I THINK I MAY JUST DO ME AND TAKE A TRIP WHERE I CAN RELAX AND BASK IN THE SUN (BROOKLYN).
