When involved with a team assignment at work or planning a get-together with my family, I am offered a wonderful opportunity to value the views of others even though they may be different from my own.
Rather than focusing on differences in personalities or opinions, I lift my thoughts higher by focusing on the spirit of God that is expressing creative ideas through each individual person. As I listen with respect to another's ideas and share my own ideas as well, I recognize there is more than one way to accomplish our mutual goal.
