Joy
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
Even though something may be challenging me, I experience the joy of knowing the Lord is my strength. Joy comes from deep within me. It is not dependent on outer circumstances.
The joy of Spirit is my foundation, so even in the midst of difficulty, I cannot be disturbed. In this awareness, a sense of appreciation, possibility, and joy envelops me. I see the circumstances of life take on new meaning. What may have appeared to be overpowering has no power to disturb me. Life's troubles, big and small, are only fleeting, but the joy of my soul is eternal.
The joy of the Lord truly is my strength. So I celebrate with a gladness that sustains me in the present experience and also carries me forward. Joy is my eternal and unwavering support.

Hey peeps, hoping all is well in your world. Last Friday, I had the pleasure of attending another Nite Out at Great Adventure with a small group of very special folks. Although our time was limited (i had a show to do in Asbury Park at midnite) we did manage to get on the Nitro twice, check out the cuties roaming the grounds and do a little two -step at the disco b4 dashing. For those of you who have never been it is a wonderful opportunity to be out and about as yourself without feeling as though you are the minority. Yes there were some sights to behold but they were my fellow gays and lesbians and I will refrain from any derogatory comments. In other news, the first Algebra test has come and gone but Im still trying to find a tutor. Y is it so hard to find a 6'4, 210lb all muscle, nude algebra tutor? Just kidding, he doesn't have to be that tall.In closing , I just had a very akward experience with someone I thought I knew well. This person would always ask for guest list privileges/passes at Escuelita and I had no problem obliging them. This past Sunday, WV called telling me that it was his cousin's birthday and for me to put on a great show at Escuelita for him. Mind you, it was on the day of the event that you called with the request but nonetheless, I agreed to make it hot. I then asked if he wanted some free passes and he replied "seven please". Two minutes later WV then began to tell me how he is planning a suprise party for his cousin Tim on a Tuesday nite at my competing party which takes place in Jersey City. I was really taken aback since I could use the business too and on top of that I am always hooking you up and to make the kick in my back harder you were now INVITING me to stop by b4 I go to work. I merely stated my feelings on the situation (via text) and let it go. VW still didn't get it though. HE went on to say he is writing a book and when it comes out he will gladly have a book signing at the Cage on a Tuesday and Escuelita on a Sunday. Were my eyes decieving me as I read this? Gurl, it's still all about u and benefitting you. Suppose the book never comes out ? WHo says I will still be at any of those locations by the time it comes out? The bottom line is, do for those who help you while you can instead of planning down the road. The lesson I learned from this is, I will continue to be just as nice to peeps but I will surely do things alot smarter. Feel free to comment on this matter if you like and have a blessed day!

I AM BACK FROM A GREAT WEEKEND IN LOS ANGELES. I JUST LOVE THAT PLACE! THE CLUBS, THE MENZ BUT NOT THE TRAFFIC. MY FAVORITE SPOT IS CIRCUS/ARENA. I ALMOST GET MARRIED EVERY TIME I GO. IM BACK HOME NOW AND TIME TO FACE REALITY: SCHOOL AND WORK. I GOT ALOT OF READING DONE FOR ONE OF MY CLASSES ON THE FLIGHT AND ALTHOUGH SCHOOL JUST STARTED FOR ME THIS PAST MONDAY 9/8 A GIRL SHOULD ALWAYS BE PREPARED AND ONE STEP AHEAD IN ORDER TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION ON THE PROFESSOR. I AM WRITING TO YOU NOW AT THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORN AFTER RETURNING FROM A PRETTY FESTIVE T-DANCE. I GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE MOMENT(AND TIPS) AND LET THE SHOW GO A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED BUT OH WELL , SHIT HAPPENS. I HAVE AN 8AM MONDAY CLASS AND I SHOULD REALLY BE PERCHED, TUCKED AND HALF-ASLEEP BY MIDNITE IN ORDER TO FUNCTION ACCORDINGLY FOR MATH CLASS. WHY I TOOK A CLASS SO DAMN EARLY WHEN I KNOW I WORK SUNDAY NITE? WELL TO BE HONEST, I THOUGHT A CERTAIN PROFESSOR WHOM I HAD PREVIOUSLY WOULD BE TEACHING IT AND SINCE THEY WERE SO PATIENT AND HELPFUL WITH ALL MY NEEDS , I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THEM AGAIN BUT LO AND BEHOLD , I READ THE SCHEDULE WRONG AND IT WAS TOO LATE TO CHANGE THE CLASS. U LIVE AND LEARN HUH? THE SEMESTER WILL BE OVER IN DECEMBER SO WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL WITH BRINGING MY ASS HOME RIGHT AFTER WORK ANYWAY? MOST PEOPLE DO IT EVERYDAY AND IF THAT'S THE CASE , THEN SO CAN I. SHIT. IN OTHER NEWS, I AUDITIONED FOR AN HBO SERIES CALLED "BORED TO DEATH", I WAS TO PLAY A TRANNY PROSTITUTE(AGAIN). THREE DAYS HAS PASSED WITH NO WORD FROM MY AGENT SO IT'S SAFE TO ASSUME I DIDN'T GET THE PART. IM COOL WITH THAT THOUGH, I KNOW ONE DAY A BIG BREAK WILL COME THROUGH FOR ME IN FILM, TV OR STAGE WORK. I HAVE FAITH AND LOTS OF PEOPLE OUT THERE ROOTING FOR ME. THE CLUB SCENE IS FINE BUT U ALWAYS WANT TO CLIMB HIGHER IN WHATEVER FIELD U ARE IN. AT LEAST I DO. I KNOW IM BABBLING AND SHOULD BE SLEEPING SO LET ME END IT HERE AND I SHALL RETURN TO YOU BY MIDWEEK. TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS.

WELL FOLKS IM OFF TO CLASS IN JUST A FEW. AT THE LAST MINUTE I SWITCHED MY SCHEDULE IN ORDER TO TAKE A MATH CLASS MON AND WED FROM 8AM-9:15AM BECAUSE I LIKED THE TEACHER/ AS YOU KNOW, I WORK SUNDAY AND TUESDAY NITES SO THIS MAY BE A BIG MISTAKE ON MY PART BUT WITH DEDICATION AND DETERMINATION IM SURE THESE NEXT FOUR MONTHS WILL GO BY QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY. IN THE MEANTIME, SAY A PRAYER FOR SISTER SUNBEAM. IN OTHER NEWS, I STARTED BARTENDING THIS PAST THURSDAY AT THE CAGE AND IT REALLY WENT WELL. I HAD NO INTENTION ON DOING IT IN DRAG BUT WAS COAXED INTO BY THE MANAGER THERE. HE FELT THAT PEOPLE WOULD GO EASY ON ME IF I MADE A MISTAKE AND WAS DRESSED UP. WELL, HE WAS RIGHT. I SCREWED UP A PURPLE MOTHERFUCKER AND A ZOMBIE BUT WITH MY AWARD WINNING SMILE, CURVACEOUS BODY AND SHARP TONGUE,THOSE PUNKS DRANK IT RIGHT UP WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT. JUST KIDDING. HEADING TO LOS ANGELES THIS WEEK WITH SUGGA PIE COCO FOR A QUICK GETAWAY AND TO VISIT MY FAVORITE NITESPOT CIRCUS/ARENA. IF U LIVE IN THAT AREA LOOK FOR ME WED AND FRI NITE SHAKING MY GROOVE THANG ON THAT BIG ASS DANCE FLOOR. CHAT SOON AND BE WELL.
