NOW I CAN BREATHE AGAIN...

MIDTERMS ARE OVER AND I AM SO RELIEVED. I WILL GET MY GRADES THIS WEEK AND OF COURSE YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW HOW THINGS WENT. MY TUTOR HAS REALLY HELPED ME ALOT AND NOW ALGEBRA ISN'T MY BIG WORRY BUT PRACTICAL NUTRITION IS. I HAVE THE MOST BORING AND UNPREPARED PROFESSOR TO DATE AND THIS EASY ASS CLASS IS WEARING ME OUT. WE SUPPOSEDLY HAD A"REVIEW" 4 THE MIDTERM BUT CHILE PLEASE, I COULD HAVE JUST STAYED HOME AND READ THE BOOK FROM FRONT TO BACK. IN OTHER NEWS, I WAS DEVASTATED TO HEAR THE JENNIFER HUDSON NEWS AND IM SURE U WERE TOO. REALLY SAD SITUATION. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO HER AND HER FAMILY. DON'T FORGET TO VOTE MY HUSBAND IN OFFICE 11/4/08 AND PLEASE DON'T TELL MICHELLE ABOUT ME. LOL. BE BLESSED AND WE SHALL TALK SOON.

MEXICO AND MIDTERMS OH MY!

I HAD A BLAST IN MEXICO GUYS. THE SIXTH ANNUAL BLACK GAY MEN'S NETWORK RETREAT WAS EMPOWERING, UPLIFTING AND INFORMATIVE. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE MORE INFO ON THIS WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION OF US PLEASE HIT ME UP AND I WILL GLADLY SEND U INFORMATION. THE WEATHER WAS CUTE EXCEPT FOR AN OCCASIONAL THUNDERSTORM AROUND DINNER TIME BUT IT HELPED TO COOL THINGS OFF. I WAS VERY NERVOUS FOR MY PANEL PRESENTATION(AS DORIAN) BUT MANAGED TO PULL THROUGH SINCE I WAS IN GOOD COMPANY. I GOT BACK HOME SUNDAY AND MET WITH MY ALGEGBRA TUTOR AND THEN DASHED TO ESCO. THIS SCHEDULE IS TURNING ME OUT BUT NEXT WEEK IS MIDTERMS WHICH MEANS ITS HALFWAY OVER. I HAVE A VERY BUSY WEEKEND AHEAD OF ME WITH A 1000 WORD ESSAY DUE ON TUESDAY AND 3 MIDTERM TESTS ON MON/TUES. I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING THRU THIS AND MOVING ON. AS I WRITE THIS I HAVE JUST FINISHED PACKING FOR ANOTHER AUDITION FOR SVU. KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS THAT I GET THE PART. SMALL BUT WORTH IT. UNTIL NEXT TIME, TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS.

Dallas, LA and now Mexico!

Sister Sunbeam has been extremely busy and blessed. I had the opportunity to take part in Dallas Southern Pride last weekend. Although not much happened for me show-wise, I did have fun and look forward to coming back in the near future. Special shoutout to Magnum Encounters and Al. Sat morning I dashed to Los Angeles to attend a very special bday bash for one of the BK Bandits/High Society Members Gerard. Kids from all over came to LA to join in the festivities. It was a very gala affair and afterwards we continued the party at Arena niteclub. I got back home and was exhausted but it was time to meet with my tutor and go to Escuelita. I managed to survive both and then the week began. With classes Mon-Wed, I am practically a zombie until about Wed nite. I pray for this semester to be over really soon. This weekend I will be attending and part of a Black Gay Male Retreat held in Puerta Vallarta Mexico. I look forward to being on the panel to discuss Black gay images as well as a suprise dinner performance to be held Saturday nite. Once again I will dash back to NYC on Sunday to make the T-Dance. Wishing u all a blessed and productive weekend.

Dallas , Texas Here I Come!

I have been officially invited for the first time to perform at Black Pride in Dallas. I look forward to this endeavor with open arms and legs. As you know, Black Pride in NYC was a complete bust (in my eyes) and I hope we can get things back on track for next year. I will be performing at the host hotel Thurs and Friday nite. For more details log on to www.dallassouthernpide.com Of course I will be back on Sunday after a fierce hit and run in Los Angeles Sat nite for Gerards bday bash, so dont despair my t-dance fans. Have a safe, productive and blessed weekend .
